Beta Absorbed Dose Measurements

This project aimed to experimentally validate the GATE Monte Carlo genarated beta absorbed dose distributions. Lu177 and Y90 beta-emitting radionuclides were taken into consideraton for absorbed dose measurements. Radiochromic film (EBT3) was used as a detector for absorbed dose measurements. The film is sandwiched in between two tissue-equivalent materials purchased from CIRS.
